Holiday of a Lifetime

This time in two weeks, Chris and I will be on our way to Heathrow!

Since I was little, in year 6 at school to be precise, I learnt about the Rainforest's and that the world that I live in was so much bigger than my mind could take in. For our final project we had to pick an animal, bird, inset etc to research and write a poem on, I chose an animal that had been over looked by my other class mates and that's when I fell in love with the Sloth.

Now, after years of dreaming, saving and planning - I will finally be making the journey to Costa Rica and seeing the Sloth in its natural habitat!!!

The trip is going to take three weeks in total, two weeks will be spent travelling round Costa Rica - we are hiring a mini 4x4 and not spending any longer than two nights in one place. The last week is going to be split between New York and Boston, because while we are in America we might as well make the most of it.

Are there any travel tips, must sees and places to visit that we should try and incorporate into our plans? Any will be greatly received for Costa Rica, New York and Boston.

Self Transformation

The blog has taken a back seat over the past X amount of months and it isn't without trying to put a post together, I'll come to the blog with ideas filling my head, only to realise I didn't know what I really wanted to write about or share.

Since 2012, I have been going through a lot of soul searching and trying to find the real me - who I am, what I like, what I want from life and what makes me tick this isn't an easy journey and by no means a short one. There are times of self discovery, being brave and learning - it is a journey that has no end date or destination. I am open to new ideas and experiences with the overall goal of being happy and learning more about myself as a person and spirituality, the process of discovery has taken me on a few of the following roads/paths.

Meditation

Chakras

Intention

Yoga
