Inspirational Thursday

Spring is in the air, but you wouldn't think that by looking out of the window today. Us Brit's are so lucky!

I am turning Thursday's into 'Inspirational' days, there are so many great ideas out in the world and I want to share a selection of images that have made me stop and look at them, for whatever reason. It is also just about touching distance to the weekend!

Enjoy and let me know what photos/images are inspiring you.

Fashion forward baby steps

I can not wait to see the amount of cute outfits Rachel will style baby Skyler Moorison Berman in. He will be the most stylish child in the playground - well everywhere!

This is such a nice family photo and I love the way Rachel and Rodger have co-ordinated their outfits.

Love for Pamela

Since there is a lot of love for Pamela Love and her amazing designs, which I must admit that I have fallen head over heels with. Granted I don't own any of her pieces but there is no harm in using the power of my mind to wish.

The above photos are from 'The Coveteur' that links into the Teen Vogue website. As I have mentioned here, I love a good nose around a house, wardrobe or studio, and these photos are no exception.

I love the mood and inspiration boards that are around the studio, they really do reflect her style and designs.

All grown up

While having my daily on line magazine fix, I came across the above image.

I have loved the Olsen twins from their TV shows, and it is amazing to see how they have grown and achieved so so much at still a very young age. They also seem to of kept their heads firmly on their shoulders, which doesn't seem like an easy thing to do for the young, rich and famous.

There are more images and an artical on the web site, but I think this one (by Bruce Weber) looks like something that should be in a family album.

Think outside of the box

I've been very lack in blogging recently, and it is more down to time. I am not going to go on about it but the past few weeks have been pretty rubbish. Work isn't going as well as I would want it to, which means being stressed and not knowing what I want to do. Then last week I had to replace a part of my exhust on my car, which wasn't too bad, apart from the I need to get the part fix next month. But to top it all off whilst driving to work the other day my car's radiator went, this meant phoning the AA, a lot of waiting around at the side of a busy road then to find out my car is going to cost more to fix than it is worth.

So that sums up my past couple of weeks, but moaning over as we know from the news, my life really isn't all that bad and I am so thankful for my great family and home life.

Outfit love

Some times I come across a photo the makes my heart skip a beat. It could be an amazing outfit, an item of clothing, accessory or even something to do with interior design (a sign of getting older).

While catching up on my blog reading, I fell in love with the above photo from 'Stockholm Street Style' I love how simple the outfit is, but it is the bag that made me sit up and pay attention. It really works and completes the black and white look. I think it also helps that Poppy Delevigne looks amazing and knows how to work this look!

Unfortunately, there are no outfit details, so if anyone knows where the bag is from, please let me know.

Thoughts and prayers

The sixth largest earthquake in recorded history devastated Japan today, may all of our thoughts and prayers be with loved ones and people who need our help the most.

Inside the home of Elin Kling

Elin Kling has made a great name for herself, her fashion blog has become a fast favourite for bloggers and the fashion industry love her. In 2010 H&M approached her to develop her own fashion collection that sold out out in all of the Swedish stores it was stocked in.

Elin opened the doors to her amazing apartment she shares with her partner Gustaf and I have fallen in love with it, wouldn't mind her shoe collection thou.

Sometimes you melt my heart...

Look at what the Boy walked through the door with tonight.... A big bunch of flowers, how amazing are they!

It was so perfect, I was curled up watching last nights episode of 'Glee' (the one where Kurt and Finn's parents marry) it was at the part where 'New Directions' were singing 'Just the Way You Are' by Bruno Mars, and in walked the Boy with them. To be honest I don't even deserve them.

I woke up this morning with the stress and woes of work and turned into the biggest moody-saw-us to roam the land. As many of us know it is so easy to take it out on our nearest and dearest and I am very guilty of that today. I'm just lucky to have such an understanding boyfriend.

I know this is a bit of a 'pass the sick bucket' post, but I wanted to share.
