Put a fork in me..... I'm full

Today is the first day since Christmas eve that the boy and I have been at home, just the two of us. It has been a whirlwind of visiting friends and family, giving and receiving presents, watching Christmas TV and films and most of all eating!

I love seeing everyone, sharing stories from when we last saw each other, seeing everyone's faces light up  when they see what presents have under the wrapping paper and eating so much food! We have a fridge full of left overs to last us a good couple of weeks.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and if you are still travelling round seeing loved ones I admire you. I was so tired when I went to bed last night and had a well needed lie in this morning.

Merry Christmas

I hope you all had a great day and all very spoilt. What are your favourite presents that you received from the day and are you feeling full of food. I know I am!

Counting down to Christmas - 1 day

Tonight is the night when we hang our stockings up and wait to see what Santa brings us! Have you been naughty or good this year?

Make sure you leave out some yummy treats for Santa and the reindeer (or a great midnight snake for yourself...)

Have an enjoyable Christmas eve.

Handbags and beauty all in one place

It is no secret that I am nosey, I love looking at photos and images of peoples homes, wardrobes and cupboards. I have shared this love in a few older posts

So, when a new start up web company emerged called ‘What’s in my handbag’, which lets you see what people have in their handbag, I was more than excited to bookmark the site and have a dose of the green eyed monster. In addition to having a look what people carry around with them - yes there is more! The person who the bag belongs to also gives a small description of the beauty products and items inside.
To make the website even more fun at the bottom of each description there is a ‘have this’ ‘want this’ button, where you can set up your own account and click away. The site officially launches early next year and you’ll be able to buy things that you see in people’s bags.

On the 1st December WIMH developed their very own advent calendar (as seen in the first image), every day unveil a new handbag with a lot more beauty and other items to lust over and add to your own ever growing Christmas list.
Under door number 7, was Nina Leykind the Co founder of Eyeko's bag. WIMH were giving away some full sized Eyeko products all I had to do was click on the ‘want this’ button and wait to see if I was one of the lucky winners of a full size product.
I won a full size Curvy Brush Mascara and I am over the moon with it. I have never tired Eyeko before and I really love the result and transformation to my lashes. In the new year I will be ordering some more products to try them out.

As well as the WIMH website they also have a BlogTwitter and Facebook, to read about latest news and stay up to date with details of the full launch of the website.

**All words in this post are my own and I honestly and personally can't speak highly of what looks to be a great upcoming company.**

Counting down to Christmas - 3 days

It still hasn't snowed and if anything it feels warm (about 11 degrees here) the sun is shining and the ground is dry.

I have put together a selection of snowman photos and images to bring a slight chill to the blog and something for me to daydream over...

Counting down to Christmas - 4 days

There are lots of different types of decorations at Christmas. As well as the tree and the decorations that are placed on and around it, people have found some different, simple and creative ideas to being Christmas into their home.

I love handmade Christmas cards. It isn't a talent I'm very good at but I like the thoughtfulness and uniqueness of them.

This post was scheduled for yesterday, but never uploaded... So a double Christmas filled post today.
