The day after, New Year's day walk

The boy and I would normally go for a nice walk on New Years day (start as we mean to go on...) But the weather stopped us from doing so yesterday, it rained all day and we didn't leave the house once. It was more of a PJ and duvet day. So look out 2012, it might be a lazy one.

When we woke this morning and saw the sun shining we couldn't help but wrap up warm (it was very windy and cold on the coast) pull on our wellies and headed for the beach. I think everyone else had the same idea too, even though we didn't leave home till 2.30pm it was busy down there.

It was a great chance to take some lovely photos of the sun setting, the view around us and of course of Bambi, and the Boy managed to get one of me that I thought I would share. It is a small New Years resolution to post a few more photos of me. I am easing myself in gently thou.

I have made a number of resolutions this year, that I really hope to stick to and achieve. I will share a few of them with you in a later post. Have you made any resolutions for the year ahead?

  4. This is the first time I'm finding your blog and the second I saw that stack of photos I knew I was going to be following. Great photography. These are exactly the kinds of photos I'm always taking and my friends never understand because most of the time no one is in them. Yours are great, and I totally appreciate the simplicity of your blog. I look forward to following you. Please keep up the great work. My forever resolution is to plan ahead. "plan ahead" is actually an acronym for 9 great interesting points but I don't remember them just yet. So plan ahead by itself will do..

    Take care,
    -Eric
