Easter weekend

The four day weekend is something we all look forward to and then it passes us by in a flash, and Easter weekend was no different.

Friday and Saturday was spent with family as mine and Chris' mum's had Birthdays, Sunday was spent walking in the sunshine and exploring some of the fields, footpaths, woodland and pond areas around our new home.

We got to meet some of our (animal) neighbours and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the Alpaca's. They are very cute and fluffy.

To round up the weekend on Monday in true British style, it rained all day. Which meant I had to face the room full of boxes that we hadn't unpacked yet. To add a bit of excitement to the day, I ended it by making Banana Bread using some bananas that no one was willing to eat.

The whole house filled with the smell of yummy warm bananas and was perfect with a cup of (green tea for me) tea and watching my new obsession; Homeland.

I hope you had a great Easter and I promise to start blogging more, since the move the Internet hasn't been working. Fingers crossed it will be fixed this week.
